SCHOOL NURSE

A nurse is assigned to our school by the Milford Health Department. The Health Room is a specifically designated area for use in handling medical situations as they occur. Emergency medical supplies and first aid equipment are kept in this room. A Health Area with emergency medical supplies is also located in the Kindergarten area. It is not the School's responsibility to diagnose or treat illness or injury. School personnel are responsible only for giving immediate first aid and notifying the parents. If a child becomes ill, the parents will be notified at home or at work. If a parent cannot be reached, the school will call one of the emergency numbers designated by the parents.
