Mrs. Wilson

Grade 4

Claudette Wilson has been teaching at Saint Mary School since 1994. She has taught kindergarten, second grade and fourth grade since joining the staff.

Claudette graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, with degrees in English and Elementary Education. Upon graduation she taught fourth grade at an inner-city parochial school for a number of years. She then took a leave of absence from teaching to raise three sons. During that time Claudette was an active volunteer at the local elementary school where she also worked as a substitute teacher. Claudette also served as PTA President. In addition to many volunteer projects she worked extensively in the elementary school publishing center. Claudette also volunteered at Saint Mary School to help children with reading difficulties before joining the faculty.
