Mrs. Huyser

Grade 6/ Technology

Sally Huyser grew up in Milford and attended Saint Mary Church. She graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, minor in Psychology. She holds a State of Connecticut Teaching Certification.

Sally taught and lived in Melbourne, Australia for two years, traveling throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands Sally has been a sixth grade teacher at St, Mary School since March, 2003. She teaches Math, English, Social Studies, Spelling and Vocabulary. She also works the After School Program three days a week.

Sally is co-advisor with Miss Orlando to the Natural Helpers, a peer helping group of 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and the Student Council. She is also a member of the Development Committee.
