Hello my name is Joan Calendrillo. I attended Catholic Elementary and High Schools and received a BS in Education from St. John's University in New York. I am a member of St Agnes Church in Milford where I am a Eucharistic Minister.
I serve as the Director of St Mary Preschool. I began the program in 1987 and have continued to grow and expand the preschool to include five classes and over seventy students. I currently teach the Full Day Program. I am inspired daily by the love and enthusiam of this most energetic age group.
While at school I am a part of the the After School program, I serve as the Faculty Liason to the Parish School Board and serve on the Parish Twinning Committee. I recently visited Haiti as part of this committee and serve as the link between the students of St Mary school and St Theresa's in Marbial, Haiti.
Professionally I am a part of Kids Count Milford and serve on the NEASC Visiting Committee.
I live with my husband Bruce and have three grown children and two delightful grandchildren. I enjoy reading, hiking and the summer sun.
