Jayne Cadrin

Nurse

My name is Jayne Cadrin. I am a Registered Nurse with the Milford Health Dept. and assigned to Saint Mary School since August 1997. I graduated from the University of Bridgeport School of Nursing in1982 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Minor in Psychology. I am a Certified Pediatric Nurse.

My past work experiences have always been with children and their families. I worked at North Shore Teaching Hospital in Long Island in their Pediatric unit for 4 years. After moving to Connecticut, I worked at a Private Pediatric office in Norwalk for 13 years, as well as in Norwalk Hospital in the Pediatric and Newborn Intensive Care Units, and on the Maternity and Newborn Nursery floors. In addition, I have worked as a Private Duty Nurse with children in the home environment.

As a nurse, I have had many exciting and rewarding experiences. My goal as a school nurse is to promote and educate children to stay healthy. My husband Gary and I have a son Matthew who attended St. Mary School since he was in Preschool. We have been a part of the St. Mary family and look forward to each day of new learning experiences and challenges.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends both in Connecticut and Long Island. I love to read, listen to music, and going to the beach.
