Linda Crotta was born and reared in Brooklyn, New York. She attended St. Catherine of Alexandria School, Fontbonne Hall Academy, and St. Joseph’s College. Mrs. Crotta received her M.S. in Special Education from the College of Staten Island.
She holds New York State Certification in K-6 and Special Education as well as Connecticut Professional Educator Pre-K to 6 certification. Mrs. Crotta taught in both the Catholic and Public schools of New York before moving to Connecticut. After briefly subbing in both the Hamden and New Haven Public schools she came to St. Mary’s and has taught 4th and 1st grades since 1994. Her hobbies include reading, counted cross-stitch, and cooking. "Teaching at St. Mary’s continues to be a rewarding and challenging experience," Mrs. Crotta states.
